Alyssa Bushey TRAVEL AGENCY GROUPS: Virtuoso, the global network specializing in luxury and experiential travel, has appointed Alyssa Bushey as senior vice president, global marketing. In this role, Bushey will lead the evolution of Virtuoso's marketing capabilities, supporting its member agencies, the network's more than 20,000 travel advisors and its portfolio of more than 2,500 travel brands. Bushey will have oversight of product marketing, content strategy, CRM analytics and performance, paid media and global expansion of the Virtuoso brand. She also will have oversight of Virtuoso's editorial team behind Virtuoso, The Magazine, now distributed in six countries. Bushey succeeds Helen McCabe-Young, who served as Virtuoso's global marketing executive for five years before being appointed senior vice president, global products in August. Most recently, Bushey served as founder and chief executive officer of Edison 360, a global marketing and innovation consultancy that developed strategic growth initiatives for clients including Forbes Travel Guide, Hyatt Residential and Travel + Leisure Co. Prior to that, she was chief marketing officer for Margaritaville Resort Orlando, where she led marketing, communications and sales efforts for the opening of its $800 million, 300-acre mixed-use resort development. Bushey held senior-level marketing and communications roles with Baha Mar, Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment Corporation, as well as Montage International, where she worked on developing the Pendry Hotels brand. Jacqueline Grossman TOURS: Kensington, a global leader in private-guided luxury travel, has appointed Jacqueline Grossman as vice president, partnership marketing, and Daniel Shanahan as director, partnership marketing. Together, they will deepen relationships across tourism boards, travel suppliers and global brands. Grossman brings more than a decade of marketing leadership experience to Kensington with roles at organizations where she led initiatives to drive sales, brand growth and digital transformation. This new role marks a return to Kensington for Shanahan, where he previously spent four years with the company in business development roles. In his new position, he will focus on scaling Kensington's cooperative marketing program and optimizing partnership performance across verticals. Chef Philippe Agnese HOTELS: Atlantis Paradise Island has appointed Chef Philippe Agnese as vice president of culinary operations. Agnese will oversee the resort's collection of more than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges, including Atlantis' three Michelin-starred chef restaurants: Fish by Jose Andres, Nobu by Nobu Matsuhisa and Paranza by Michael White, plus Fieldtrip by James Beard Foundation award-winning Chef JJ Johnson. Hailing from France, Agnese brings more than 40 years of hospitality experience from venues across Europe and Asia, including 25 years of international culinary leadership. He has previously served as the culinary director at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai, executive chef at the City of Dreams Resort in Manila Philippines, director of culinary at Capella Hotels & Resorts, as well time spent at Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Peninsula, Capella Sanya and most recently, The Imperial New Delhi. Samuel Chamberlain CRUISES: Ponant Explorations Group announced that its CEO of the Americas Samuel Chamberlain has been named to Forbes Travel Guide’s inaugural Cruise Industry Advisory Committee (CIAC).
